This is Acer nugundo, considered a pest tree in many places. If it is close to your house it worse think to remove it -- quite fragile, big samples easily brake at even light storms.

Well, this is a plant from tropical Africa, so definitely not hardy, on the plantzafrica.com one can see: "It is frost sensitive and is not recommended for outdoor cultivation in areas colder than USDA Zone 10, i.e. with a minimum temperature of -1 to 4ºC"
Haemanthus is a synonim of Scadoxus, see: http://www.theplantlist.org/tpl/record/kew-276864, and GRIN DB states the same.
